Stack Session 3 Beer Can Design

was given some free reign to design a series of cans for WoodStacker Beer Co. in Manchester, NH. This is the third release in the Stack Session series of beers. It features all local NH ingredients. Yup. Everything grown in the granite state here. Pretty cool. For this design I did a play on the classic Joy Division album “Unknown Pleasures” You’ve probably/maybe seen the original out in the wild on a T-shirt or the like. The designer was Peter Saville. He designed a bunch of the albums that I grew up listening to by the band New Order as well as Joy Division. He cofounded Factory Records in Manchester… UK. I did a mash up on the can of some of his design style. As best as I could. Thank you Mike at Woodstacker for having the faith in me. I know this one was a bit left field.
