Project Overview: The Journey Before Us Website

The Journey Before Us is Laura Dusha Nelson's practice in health and wellness coaching, grief education, and end-of-life support, with virtual sessions anywhere and in-person conversations in Central Massachusetts. Laura wanted a site that said less and felt calmer. The redesign opens with two clear paths into her work, gives each kind of support its own page, and replaces stock photography with a custom watercolor and ink illustration system, down to her own portrait.

Laura runs the site herself. Every page is a set of simple fields she fills in, and events are added once, sort themselves by date, and move to the archive when they pass. A rebuilt contact form keeps the spam out of her inbox.
