Vicky Cryer was founded in 2011 by Jason Hill of Louis XIV. Co-members include bassist Nick Fyffe and drummer Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails), as well as drummer Dominic Howard (Muse), bassist Mark Stoermer (the Killers), keyboardist Jeff Kite (Casablancas), violinist Ray Suen (the Killers, Flaming Lips), and saxophonist Sam Gendel.
